Flagging Instructions

Cullinan Irrigation’s Aeration services will occur between September 1st and October 31st.

Cullinan Irrigation will not be held responsible for damaged objects not marked prior to service. Our aeration machinery is 49 inches wide and penetrates up to 4 inches underground. Please notify us if this creates an issue so that we can make other arrangements.

Prior to aeration, we request customers prepare their yard by:
  • Flagging in-ground sprinkler heads. We will mark sprinkler heads for customers for an additional fee.
  • Flagging invisible dog fences, with flags every 5 feet. We also recommend using spray paint to mark in-ground fence lines to prevent potential damage. If neighboring yards have invisible fences, either the fence line or property line should be flagged every 5 feet.
  • Flagging other objects that could be damaged by the aeration process, including drain tiles, septic caps, and valve boxes.

Please note, if the technician arrives to perform services and the property is not flagged, the following options are available:

  • The technician will flag the property and perform the scheduled aeration services, if the customer wishes. An additional fee will be invoiced for the extra duties performed.
  • The customer can reschedule but will be invoiced for a trip fee.
